A much better day. A short walk under overcast skies and moderate temperatures about 18°.

Montcuq is a very pretty medieval village, which, I have a feeling, is favoured by foreigners for real estate. Narrow laneways surround the church (not open) and slowly wend their way across the main street to the track to Lauzerte. M
A relatively easy walk with only a few ups and downs, but finishing with a pretty steep climb to the old village of Lauzerte.

Such a beautiful village with plenty of restoration going on.

Arriving early I enjoyed a coffee and snack at the bar in the village square.

A short walk through the medieval streets, equally or even more beautiful as Montcuq.
The Gite Communal easy to find and an absolute delight.
