A cold misty morning. Taking my time so I can have breakfast after most have left the Gîte.
Today is a short walk. Terrain pretty flat and nearly boring. No services, no water to be found and hardly a soul walking, but lots of wildflowers.

Taking a short rest at ‘stonehenge’ about 3 kms from Cahors, my destination finally revealed itself after peaking a hill followed by a long steep, painfull descent in to town.

Following the obligatory sandwich lunch and a rest in the warm sun, I reached the hostel at the 3:30 pm opening time.
