Standing on the edge of Ireland’s middle west coast, it’s a good thing the the wind was a westerly, it was howling and it knocked a few bods over, it was that strong. Pretty much a Great Ocean Road x3 cliff-face which drops sheer to the Atlantic. Before the tourist ramparts and landscaping were completed, this was a favorite place to take that final leap. All the construction kinda makes the whole experience a bit tame. However, a gazillion tourists still come, snapping selfies, chowing down in the cafe and and shopping in the ubiquitous souvenir store.
